About Jamie
From the moment Jamie Watson turned pro at the age of 18, he knew that he wanted to do more than just play soccer. While managing a professional career spanning 12 years, Jamie always dedicated himself to being the best he could be, both on and off the field.
After retiring from the playing field in 2016, Jamie joined the broadcast team for Minnesota United FC. Since switching to broadcasting, Jamie has covered a wide variety of matches from college playoffs to USL to Major League Soccer plus been a correspondent for the International Champions Cup covering the best teams from Europe as they tour the US.
Jamie is a dedicated supporter of the Special Olympics, United Way and many children’s charities, especially anything that helps people with disabilities.
